AAPI Herstory: Nadya Okamoto in Conversation with Grace Choi, Director of Policy at the New York City Mayor’s Office

Published in Girls Are Awesome

Grace Choi is currently Director of Policy at New York City Mayor’s Office and has an extensive history in policy and political organizing. She was previously Director of AAPI Outreach for Stacey Abram’s Gubernatorial race. I sat with her to chat about what it means to be Asian American today, learn more about her current work, and talk about the importance of mental health and accessibility to mental health resources.

AAPI Herstory is a series hosted by Nadya Okamoto, inspired by her academic work at Harvard with Dr. Vivian Shaw. Nadya Okamoto is the Founder of PERIOD and author of PERIOD POWER.
